Since I have already figured out and fixed this blog’s problem (yep, it’s in the signature that I added), now it’s time to get back on track. I’ve already wasted so much time trying to get a new theme, but to no avail. So, okay, I’m back to my old wordpress theme, with added widgets.
Wordpress platform is really not my cup of tea, so pardon me if I make some tweaks here and there from time to time. I’m still making my way to knowing every feature that Wordpress has to offer to a “used-to-blogging-in-blogspot” blogger like me. Anyway, in time, I’m sure I’ll be able to make my way through in this platform easily, with of course a little help from my colleague, Dex. By the way, if you have time, feel free to visit his site, WowLegazpi.com. It highlights our hometown, Legazpi City, Albay.
So that’s it. Time to look for something interesting to blog about so I can get back on track.
You might have noticed that this blog is a little bit distorted. I’ve been trying to figure out what’s wrong with the theme since yesterday, but I couldn’t seem to find the answer. Arrrgghhh, come on side bars, cooperate pleaasseee!!!
I simply remembered editing my posts yesterday by changing my signature, then the next thing I noticed my widgets were gone. But actually they’re not, only misplaced elsewhere, there at the bottom. Ugh!
This morning, I tried to do a little editing to fix the problem, but no success. I so hate it when I feel exasperated after trying and trying. I admit, I am not too patient when it comes to designing or tweaking the theme of my blog. But what can I do, no one to help me at this point.
Anyway, tomorrow, I’ll give it another try. If again I fail, I’m off to a new Wordpress theme.

Yes, it’s back! Up and running again, after a long long time of sleeping. Weee…Actually, it was on the verge of dying, good thing I simply know how to resuscitate it. LOL
Anyway, if you’ll notice, I already included some of my baby in between posts here. If you’re a regular visitor of my family blog, The Baby in Between, I’m sure these will look familiar to you. I just thought that these posts fit here better than there, so I transferred them.
So there. Phoebe Online is back! I hope you’ll constantly visit like you always do on my family blog. Welcome!!!
At home, when we arrived at around 2pm, there I started to feel really weak. My throat felt like burning, my nose was stuffed, my head was throbbing, and my body was shivering. In short, I was having a flu, with 39degrees Celsius temp. I didn’t know what safe medicine to take, so I settled on drinking lots of water. You know what, my throat and lips were dry most of the time, and when I try to eat, I could taste nothing but that bitter taste. Ugh! That Monday night, I never had a good night sleep. And so was on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Wednesday, I went to see an OB. I felt relieved to know that Paracematol is safe for pregnant woman like me as well as some antibiotics. Now, I’m starting to take them, and yeah I’m feelin’ better. Hopefully, I’ll get well really sooner because Daddy will be leaving in just a week. I don’t want him to leave with me still feeling sick like this.
Before heading home today, I decided to spend some time for me - which means a little pampering like having a new haircut and a hot oil treatment. I’ve been dreading my long hair for almost a month now (it’s no fun combing it in the morning before taking a bath), so I asked Papa G if he’d allow me to have my hair cut. He said yes, and so I’m off to a little pampering session. New haircut here I come!
Update: 3 Hours After
Haircut’s done. Hair spa instead of hot oil is done. Additional foot spa and pedicure are done as well. Oh I feel good after! I do like my new haircut.
Papa G said I looked good in my new hairstyle. Though it’s shorter than what I intended, he said it didn’t matter because it looked good on me. “Thanks Daddy for the compliment!”
Yesterday, I received a good news from the agent of the house and lot sold to us last year. According to her, our loan was already approved by Pag-ibig and the loan take-out was released since Monday. I felt really excited upon reading her message because I’ve been long waiting to inspect the house that Daddy and I bought. We wanted so much to move in before he heads back to Korea on March, so we must inspect immediately prior to the turnover of the unit.
So, a while ago, Daddy and I went to the developer’s office to get the Certificate of Inspection. It was a 2-hour wait, but it was worth it when Daddy already got hold of the Certificate and the forms for Meralco and Maynilad application. He was also told that on Monday 11:00 AM, we must be at the unit to inspect everything that has to be repaired. We’re both thrilled and we can hardly wait for Monday to come.
Oh yes, we’re so close to movin’ in! At last, all the efforts are starting to pay off. I could still remember last year when I was under so much pressure just to find the affordable house and lot that we can buy - plus the preparation of the documents, the submission of requirements, and the budgeting of money so as to accommodate the downpayment. Whew! We’re close now! Really close.
Thank you Lord for this really wonderful blessing. At least now, we’re starting to see the fruit of our labor. And hopefully, a start of a truly lasting relationship.
In South Korea, it is already winter. Daddy left the place two days ago, and according to him it’s so cold there because of the snow. I just don’t know if the temperature in Snow World will be as cold as the temp in South Korea. Only Daddy can tell later. Hmmm. I wonder if I can bring Baby Gaby inside to experience the snow as well. What do you think?
Anyway, I hope we’ll have fun at the Snow World later, since this is also our first time to have a family bonding. Although the fees are a bit pricey, I guess everything will be worth it. By the way, let me share to you the fees in Star City as of today:
- Entrance Fee : Php 60
- Entrance Fee + 3 Rides : Php 250
- Entrance Fee + Ride All You Can : Php 300
- Entrance Fee + Ride All You Can + Snow World: Php 400
- Entrance Fee + Ride All You Can + Dino Island: Php 400
- Entrance Fee + Ride All You Can + Snow World + Dino Island: Php 500
